On acting and life
There are certain pre-defined roles in life we are presented to take on, - of a career-minded manager, a hippie, an entrepreneur, a wousewife etc. - all coming with the ready-made sets of characteristics, raised expectations and die-hard stereotypes. A rebellious anti-establishment youth eventually takes on a respected slot of pre-alloted cells in life. Sure enough, there are plenty of those to choose from, and there is a unabashed vigour in the selection process on display. We happily stream into cells, spreading all over, smoothening the tireless wheel of economy. Interestingly, even those daring to suggest new forms of social engagement, are eventually becoming incorporated into ever-expanding role play. The system simply adds on a couple of new cells, somewhat oddly shaped but in several years totally normal. You think you are different and fine out own combination of social activities - there will always be thousands of others with the same list. Social innovation with the consequences of conquering China, - the winner ultimately dissolves in the Chinese mass. There is a great point in trying though. Societal surfing. The faster - the tenser.
